I have watched the lesson Demo’s on-line and thet look impressive. I am currently looking for a guitar program to purchase for my daughter and this is definitely a strong contender. Will be making a Lesson purchase in the very near furture.

Maybe that explains it…, I’m a female bass player and it came so easily for me, almost effortless. I remembered and ex-rocker who just couldn’t pick up a bass line, well, I learned bass a couple of years later and as a new player, almost effortlessly learned it. I tend to discount myself as a female, as men have typically been the guitar/ bass players, but it gives me encouragement to know that maybe I have a lot more potential for continued growth than I realized. I think the huge strings scare women away, but it’s way easier on my fingers than playing acoustic guitar the same amount of time. I can play 2 hour nonstop sets without blisters.

Hello…

I’ve finished the learn and master guitar course by steve krenz. I liked it very much although it is not as good as I expected. For instance the soloing chapter is just a taste of what makes up a good solo. he leaves out one of the most important electric guitar tecnique, vibrato. But in all this is a very good program, especially for beginners, the reading notes chapter is essentially good. But if you are looking for a lesson that dives deep into guitar playing and mastering, this is not what you are looking for

I’ve seen his mini-course videos, and i think they are great… pure gold actually. A very simple yet effective teaching approach; as a teacher this guy Salter shows a relaxed and down to earth attitude, which surely would be appreciated in the longer video lessons. The quality of the videos is excellent too. No doubt this method will deliver all that it claims. (thanks)

Well so far I have looked over and listened to a few of Kenny’s freebies as well as some of the others out there whome shall remain nameless for this blog. I learned more from 2 of Kenny’s video’s than I have in MONTHS of listening to a couple of the others out there. I am looking forward to a time when the economy turns around a bit so that I can afford to purchase the whole program.
I have no doubt in my mind after months of careful research that this will be the way to go.

Check out http://www.guitarinstructor.com. This site rocks! They have video guitar lessons from Eric Johnson, John 5, Joe Bonamassa, Wolf Marshall, and Tom Kolb (loved his Soloing Strategies column in Guitar One and Guitar World) and others. The lessons are $1.99 each, and range from about five minutes up to 12 minutes or so. They also sell guitar tabs for 99 cents, from the Hal Leonard tab books, so the tabs are accurate.

Oh, and everything is a la carte … no membership fees.
