Guitar Hero or Zero

Having discovered my grandsons have Guitar Hero for PS2 thought I’d give it a try - a short cut to Rock ‘n’ Roll fame!! So far I have managed the tutorials, just. I then turned my attention to Apple’s Garage Band where I’ve had more luck making sounds that approximate music. Makes me wonder whether I should just learn real guitar and be done with it!!

How do musicians hold up in Guitar Hero? Many think that seeing the notes on LCD TVs is a completely different experience than playing the notes live. Since video game systems are now becoming permanent fixtures in many homes’ entertainment centers, being skilled at Guitar Hero is a definite benefit.
